Agriculture

Crop, livestock and forestry agriculture contributes $16 million annually to the local economy.

The Okaloosa Extension assists local agricultural producers with research based information to sustain the production of food and fiber. Working in cooperation with other agencies, (Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, Farm Bureau and commodity organizations) we conduct educational programs, farm demonstrations and visits, produce timely newsletters and mass media efforts to reach and provide information to Okaloosa County producers.
