Foot & Mouth Disease
The USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Emergency Operations Center has been activated to assist the public and industry members with their concerns dealing with Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD). Individuals will be manning the phones in the Center from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (EST) 7 days a week.

The APHIS Emergency Operations Center is staffed by veterinarians and import/export experts from APHIS who can explain the restrictions and regulations impacting people and products arriving at US ports of entry from FMD affected countries.
