Fruit Grafting Workshop June 18

Cost: $ 50 per person

This workshop is for farmers and homeowners interested in learning about grafting and propagating grapes and stone fruits such as peaches. The program will feature hands-on collection of scion material and grafting techniques, and discuss a variety of topics such as:

  • Peach Orchard Layout
  • Successfully Establishing a Profitable Orchard
  • Choosing Scion Material
  • Propagation Techniques for Peaches and Grapes
  • Rootstock Selection

Registration includes lunch, a grafted peach plant, class materials, and
UF/IFAS exclusive guidebook, Propagating Fruit Plants in Florida.
NOTE: Please bring a grafting knife if you have one!
